The Pinwheel Galaxy
The Pinwheel Galaxy was imaged during March and April, 2023 and April 2024. The total imaging time was 25.7 hours. The Pinwheel Galaxy is located in the Ursa Major constellation. In May, 2023, a Supernova was detected in this galaxy: supernova SN 2023ixf.

Horsehead and Flame Nebulae
The image below was processed using the SHO palette with PixInsight from data collected January 10, 12 and February 12, 13, 14 and 18, 2024. Markarian’s Chain is a stretch of galaxies in part of the Virgo Cluster. Member galaxies include M84 (NGC 4374), M86 (NGC 4406), NGC 4477, NGC 4473, NGC 4461, NGC 4458, NGC 4438 and NGC 4435. Imaged April 12, 13 and 16, 2023.
