    The Pinwheel Galaxy was imaged during March and April, 2023 and April 2024. The total imaging time was 25.7 hours. The Pinwheel Galaxy is located in the Ursa Major constellation. In May, 2023, a Supernova was detected in this galaxy: supernova SN 2023ixf.

    The image below was processed using the SHO palette with PixInsight from data collected January 10, 12 and February 12, 13, 14 and 18, 2024.
